Art for Everyone—and Art for You

At Galleri Brink, we believe that art should be felt, not exclusive. We have intentionally left elitism behind to create a vibrant meeting place where all forms of artistic expression are welcome. Here, you will find a colorful variety of art in all its forms—from captivating paintings to unique sculptures and exciting original works.

Our collection is a dynamic mix. We are proud to serve as a springboard for emerging talents, offering affordable original art to suit all budgets. At the same time, we enjoy exclusive collaborations with established professional artists whom the gallery officially represents. It is precisely this convergence of the unexpected and the professionally acclaimed that defines our unique character.

Our philosophy rests on the synergy between experience and intuition. We provide our expertise and guidance, but ultimately, your own taste is the only true authority. You don’t need to know everything about art to appreciate it—it is enough simply to feel it.

* Below, we present a selection of the professional artists we represent:

Olga Brink has an academic background with thirteen years of formal art education, spanning art college and the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. For the past eleven years, she has been active in Sweden, where she seamlessly blends her classical training with a deeply personal artistic expression.

Her artistic focus lies in watercolor painting—a medium she chose for its technical challenges and its vibrant, unpredictable nature. By working with the transparency of watercolors and building up her pieces in multiple thin layers, she achieves a distinct sense of depth and light. Her style is one of romantic realism with impressionistic influences, where the ultimate goal is to capture the atmosphere and the very essence of each subject.

In addition to her own creative work, she runs Galleri Brink, located at Storgatan 23 C in Uppsala.

Elen Iv

Elen Iv is a professional artist whose work navigates the poetic borderland between figurative art and expressive abstraction. In her paintings, human presence emerges subtly from layers of color fields, texture, and pulsating light. Through a painterly transformation, everyday impressions—silhouettes, interiors, and landscapes—are detached from their material context and placed into an immaterial space, balancing between the seen and the unseen.

In this artistic exploration, there is a clear dialogue with the legacy of Marc Chagall. Like the master, Elen Iv merges reality with a dreamlike logic, allowing her subjects to float free from earthly gravity and obey the laws of emotion instead. Here, color does not merely describe; rather, it serves as the primary vehicle for mood and spirituality. It is a genuine continuation of a tradition where painting becomes the universal language of the soul and vision—transforming the fleeting moment into a painterly parable.

Elena Shichko

Elena Shichko is a professional artist and holds a PhD in Art History, seamlessly blending academic depth with technical brilliance across painting, printmaking, and photography. Her artistic style is defined as romantic fantastic realism—a world where realistic subjects are placed within newly envisioned, decorative environments governed by their own laws of space and perspective. Utilizing saturated colors and rich textures, she creates works that burst with a zest for life, portraying the intersection of the real and the fictional.

With a background from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, Elena’s expertise has earned her international recognition, including awards at biennials in Japan, Taiwan, and Croatia, as well as prestigious accolades at the International Photography Awards in the USA. Her work is represented in museum collections in Minsk as well as in private collections worldwide.

The professional Polish artist Serg Kirka presents his captivating series of works, with the piece Metamorphoses taking center stage. Kirka has developed a unique and highly recognizable style that skillfully balances between expressionism and abstraction.

Through a masterful handling of oil paint and a deep understanding of color psychology, he creates tactile, multi-layered works that explore themes of inner transformation and the transience of nature.

His technique relies on impasto and the use of a palette knife, seamlessly merging technical precision with an emotional spontaneity that infuses the paintings with a rare energy.

The title Metamorphoses perfectly reflects the essence of this series; here, there are no fixed forms—instead, everything exists in a state of becoming. The works can be seen as metaphors for an inner human rebirth, where old preconceptions burn away in the red flames of passion, only to transition into a spiritual, violet depth.

These paintings do not dictate a specific subject to the viewer; instead, they invite one into a world of pure emotions, textures, and personal associations within the realm of the abstract.

Volha Samo

Volha Samo trained as a fashion designer at the Academy of Arts in Minsk. For many years, she ran her own atelier and showcased her collections on prominent stages such as Moscow Fashion Week, while simultaneously teaching emerging talents at the Academy of Arts.

Following the events in Belarus in 2020 and the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, Volha and her family were forced to emigrate. This brought an abrupt interruption to her established career, but it also marked the beginning of a new artistic journey. Today, she lives and works in Málaga, Spain, where she has discovered a new medium of expression through printmaking.

Her current work is an intuitive and personal exploration of decorative form, composition, and geometry, frequently featuring botanical motifs. It is a way for her to channel the sense of rhythm and color that has always been central to her textile work. Volha Samo is currently at the beginning of this new path, where each piece is created with a desire to share beauty and engage in a dialogue with the world around her.
